Ajay Goyal is a seasoned technology and business leader with over three decades of experience working with top-tier organisations across the USA and India. He brings a rare combination of deep SAP expertise, C-suite leadership experience, and strategic business acumen.
His SAP journey spans the full evolution of the platform — from SAP R/3 and ECC to S/4HANA — with certifications in SAP MM and WM and hands-on delivery across logistics, manufacturing, and enterprise transformation programmes on five continents.
Today, through Aray Consulting and PilaniLabs, Ajay works at the intersection of SAP and AI: helping enterprises modernise their SAP landscapes, connect SAP to the cloud, and build AI-first organisations led from the boardroom.

SAP beginnings
Ajay was among the initial team members at Tata Technologies and attended the first SAP partner academy held in India in 1997 — an early entrant in SAP consulting when the ecosystem in India was just taking shape.
Global SAP delivery
He went on to lead and deliver more than 20 large SAP implementations across 18+ countries — including the USA, China, Belgium, France, Spain, and India — working with leading global consulting and manufacturing organisations in the United States, and as part of a Silicon Valley B2B e-commerce start-up.
C-suite leadership
As Global CIO / Vice President of IT at Zydus Lifesciences, one of India’s largest pharmaceutical groups, Ajay managed the full spectrum of IT — strategy, operations, budgets, AI adoption, and enterprise applications across global markets. Earlier, he served as SAP Head for Torrent Pharmaceuticals in Ahmedabad, leading the company’s SAP landscape.
